Decoratives are tiles with an image or pattern in the surface, usually embedded in field tile to create contrast and visual interest.  "Decos" can be added by replacing some of the field tile, cutting corners on adjoining tiles to create a square opening, or laying the tile in a mosaic pattern that creates space for the decos.  We even have one line of tile (Terra Mare) that can be purchased with pre-cut openings for decos.

Decos can have a very international flavor. Our Margaret Licha decos are made locally in Grass Valley, however Talavera and Primavera come from Mexico,  Phoenician from Tunesia, and Crete Senesie, Terra Mare, Sine Die, Roma and Appi Antica are imported from Italy.
