Mexican
Pavers
The
Mexican pavers are crafted from the desert of Saltillo. The are 3/4"
thick, clay tiles that have been fired in an "open kiln." The
stacking of the tiles and differing degrees of temperature inside the
kiln result in the characteristic pink and yellow tones. After they are
installed, these tiles are very durable. They stain in a variety
of colors for indoor use and are best left unstained when used outdoors.
We stock presealed pavers finished with two coats (low gloss) or three
coats (high gloss) of Glaze and Seal acrylic, water-based sealer. Low-gloss
Saltillo pavers are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Spanish
Pavers -
The San Genis pavers from Spain are entirely handmade. These traditional
cotto pavers are both dust free and flat. They are our best cotto paver
for exterior installations. |
