Pavers are clay-bodied tiles, also known as cotto, and are often used in outdoor areas. They can be installed indoors to give a southwestern, rustic or Mediterranean appearance. Our pavers come from Mexico, Italy and Spain.

Here are a few of the pavers we offer. On the left are Italian cotto products, generally a smooth uniform red color. In the center are some of Spanish cotto tiles, with the classic color variation from red to orange and yellow like the familiar Mexican pavers from Saltillo.
On the right are Spanish pavers that come mixed in different colors per box, to give a varied mosaic appearance for large outdoor areas.
Some pavers are pre-sealed, while others require sealing after installation.

Most of the pavers we sell are from Saltillo, and in fact we are one of the largest importers and providers of Mexican cotto in the Bay Area. Saltillo tile comes in a variety of sizes and shapes, including stair treads, hexagons and octagons (which require small square tiles to complete a pattern). Many clients install pavers with interspersed decorative tiles, or complex geometric patterns formed by tiles of different sizes. For example, pavers may be installed in pinwheel patterns, formed by a mixture of small and large squares.
